What Are YOUR Thanksgiving Traditions? Here Are OURS!

FOR MOST PEOPLE, Thanksgiving means gratitude, food, and family. Those are the common threads. But people also have fun, unique, or unusual traditions that surround the holidays.

Our Team Members Share Their Thanksgiving Traditions…

From Dr. DeSimone:

“We go to my parents’ house and the kids are invited to bring their most interesting school projects to show their family… a poem, a college essay, a drawing, a puppet show, etc…”

From Lynn:

“My favorites are preparing delicious food, leftovers the next day, holiday shopping with my daughters, decorating for Christmas, finding the perfect tree at our favorite tree farm”

From Kim:

“My husband, Jessie, reads a special poem before dinner.”

From Lois:

“We trade recipes with family at Thanksgiving.”

From Kathy:

“We all hold hands and say what we are Thankful for, then say Grace. The kids make name tags for all the family and/or guests.”

From Mindy:

“When we go around the table and say what we are all thankful for.”

From Karen:

“We always have a special treat for the kids such as Sparkling Cider.”

From Raquel:

“When we all gather around, hold hands and say what we are thankful for.”

From Brittany:

“Everyone makes a dish for breakfast and gather around to watch the parade which we will be seeing live in NYC this year.”

From Izamar:

“At our Thanksgiving family gathering, everyone is happy and we all eat really good food.”

From Annemarie:

“Everyone brings a dish to share. Before dinner, we hold hands and say Grace. We enjoy dessert watching football.”
